Christa Funk: First In, Last Out — Christa Funk is the first person in the water in the morning and the last to leave in the evening. As one of the few professional female surf photographers, she has made the legendary Pipeline in Hawaii—one of the world's most dangerous and iconic waves—her workplace and happy place. Christa grew up in Colorado, where she discovered her passion for photography. She later combined this passion with her love of the ocean, finding her way into the male-dominated world of surfing. Today, she searches for the perfect angle for her photos amid the swell, enjoying the rare moments of calm amidst the chaotic waves. Her cinematic portrait shows that believing in your dreams always pays off. 15'
The last Dive — Over 40 years ago, Terry Kennedy formed an extraordinary friendship. At that time, the waters around the uninhabited volcanic island of San Benedicto were a sailing paradise for him and his friends. Located around 600 kilometers off the Pacific coast of Mexico, the island was a place where Terry could indulge his desire for freedom. This desire had landed him in trouble several times in the U.S., but there he could escape all conventions. However, that all changed when he encountered Willy, a giant manta ray with a wingspan of over six meters, while diving. This encounter changed his life. Over the next two decades, an extraordinary friendship developed between Terry and Willy, transforming the former outlaw into a dedicated animal and environmental activist. Now in his eighties, Terry embarks on one last journey to San Benedicto in The Last Dive. He hopes to see Willy again—the animal that showed him what really matters in life. 20'
A Different Beast — Lachlan, Ewan, and Jamie Maclean have an ambitious goal: to row across the Pacific Ocean nonstop and unsupported in record time. The distance between Peru and Australia, approximately 9,000 miles, does not deter the three brothers. With unshakable self-confidence, a sense of humor, and a bit of beginner's luck, they already crossed the Atlantic in 2020 and gained their first experience in ocean rowing. However the Pacific is bigger, lonelier, and more dangerous. To prepare for this sporting challenge, the three Scots are training hard: on their boat, in the gym, and on their farm in the Highlands. There, they have even pre-cooked 1,800 meals for their adventure. But they know that this adventure is not just about strength, but also about mental fortitude. No one knows what surprises await them on the high seas. 20'

Home is the Ocean / A Unique Global Expedition — The Schwörer family has found its home at sea, far from their Swiss homeland and their comfort zones. Twenty-five years ago, Dario and Sabine Schwörer set sail in an expedition yacht to explore the world's most remote places and inspire the next generation to love nature. Their six children were born along the way, each in a different part of the world. In just 20 square metres, the eight Schwörers share their lives and everyday adventures. In Home is the Ocean – A Unique Global Expedition, we follow the family over seven years as they challenge traditional ideas about parenting, education, home and security. Then a storm hits the sailboat, forcing them to reconsider their life choices and future. 35'
